Most countries of the world use TV Standards that are incompatible with other countries. For example, a video recording made in the UK could not be played on US standard VCR's or shown on the TV.

Effectively, there are three world standards. These are NTSC, PAL, SECAM. The charts below give a description of each standard and the technical variations within each.

The following table is for a single VHS copy made from or to any foreign video format. We do not convert to or from formats other than VHS.
